It has also been described as the ego-mind's attempt to subjugate the soul, experienced when we do things that are contrary to the direction in which our feelings lead us. Lack of awareness can result in a numbness to these feelings in general, or more intellectually, a lack of definition concerning our own priorities. Thanks for posting this.
